The hype of sustainability is booming, why most or some people choose easier yarns to unwind it only solves a small issue. There are still lots and lots of sweaters, going into the landfill that aren’t natural fibers if we take those sweaters and turn them into something new like yarn, new fiber recycled we might solve some of the bigger issues together.
I want to dedicate my site to rating yarn that is easiest to unwind from sweaters to yarn that is hardest to unwind. If we limit ourselves to one fiber, one texture without knowing that other textures can be recycled and unwind into new stuff without going to big box stores for yarn as much.
I am just one person but I’ve been seeing a lack of people not exploring more into fiber art I want to change that I feel like it increases creativity to making something new when you have fiber that is different than your average yarn.

I’m a disability and mental health advocate, as I myself have a mental health disability. I want to support local artist as I myself is an artist. Everything I make is a step-by-step pattern for in video format free for all. I run a shop using mostly stainable yarn if I have a vision I will put into action, some fibers are harder to find sustainability. I won’t ever gate-keep my tips or tricks.
